I am a practical Idealist trying to humanize technology.
Or in otherwords, a walking bag full of contradictions that came across writing.
Writing became a necessity when I became a confused kid as Cantonese girl in a Cantonese household in the middle of a small time Midwest suburbian neighborhood. When a confused kid doesn’t know the word hate in her native tongue, the confused kid loves the world of words.
My latest interest has been in media technology and public diplomacy. If companies and nonprofits can pinpoint and analyze what their consumers want, the government should also be able to pinpoint and analyze determine what their citizens want. Much the same way for the citzens to determine what they want from the government. The technology should be there. Who holds the voices that are heard? How can we access it?
